What StructCalc Engine does

The engine covers the full automation chain - from raw FEM results import through normative checks to formatted output documents.

FEM results import
Direct API integration with midas Civil, midas Gen and Autodesk Robot. Pulls internal forces, reactions and displacement envelopes across all load combinations - no manual export or copy-paste required.
Eurocode checks
Automated EC2, EC3 and EC8 utilisation ratio calculations for beams, columns, connections and seismic combinations. All checks parametrically defined - section properties, material grades and load factors configurable per project.
Report generation
One-command PDF and Word generation with fully formatted calculation sheets, annotated diagrams and traceable code clause references. Output conforms to standard structural engineering report conventions.
Batch processing
Process hundreds of structural members across all load combinations in a single run. Exportable utilisation matrices and critical-member summaries help engineers focus review effort where it matters most.
Plugin architecture
Extensible design allows teams to add custom check modules for non-standard structural typologies without modifying the core engine. Enables incremental adoption of specialist assessment procedures.
Results dashboard
Web-based results interface for team review. Visual utilisation maps, member-level filtering and inline annotation tools support collaborative design checking across distributed project teams.

Roadmap & research
